First Dance - Real Witches Ball 2002
The first dance (uh, if you want to call it that) was reserved for Dorothy Morrison and A.J. Drew (uh me). Of course I didn't know how to dance at the time, but we all have to learn sometime. Luckily for Dorothy, his feet didn't manage to land on hers more than once. Later, Dorothy and I used dance as the symbolic Great Rite in main ritual by inviting couples from the circle to participate in the invitation to our Lord and Lady. As the pagan movement grows and as Wiccans grow up, I hope to see equaly inventive additions to our sacred rituals.
